Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy describes how the QualiMate mobile application ("the Application") collects, uses, stores, and protects user data. We place special emphasis on protecting the privacy and security of your data.

By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the Application.

2. DATA COLLECTION

2.1. Data We DO NOT Collect

QualiMate DOES NOT COLLECT the following data:

  • Passwords and credentials
  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII, name, address, phone, email)
  • Geolocation
  • Contacts
  • Photos from the gallery (except drawings you explicitly select)
  • Credit card data (all payments are processed by app stores)
  • Browser history
  • Content of drawing files

2.2. Local Data (Stored Only on Your Device)

The following data is stored exclusively locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database and is NOT transmitted to external servers (except when the User has explicitly enabled Webhook integration, see §2.5):

  • Part information (name, drawing number, material)
  • Dimensions and tolerances of parts
  • Measurement results
  • Drawings (copies of files you select)
  • Quality control reports
  • Application settings
  • Employee identifier (employeeId) and username (for audit and reports)
IMPORTANT:

Upon deleting the application, all local data will be permanently lost. The user is solely responsible for creating backups.

2.3. Automatically Collected Technical Data

To ensure stable application operation and bug fixing, we automatically collect the following anonymized technical data via the Sentry.io service:

Error and Crash Data:

  • Error type and description
  • Stack trace
  • Application version
  • Operating system version
  • Device model
  • Interface language
  • Time of error occurrence

Audit Data (optional, if entered by the user):

  • Employee identifier (employeeId)
  • Username
  • Department and Role

Data that is NOT included in error reports:

  • Full paths to drawing files (only the base file name)
  • Content of files
  • Specific measurement values
  • Personal data (PII) — the option sendDefaultPii = false is enabled

2.4. Data from App Stores

When purchasing a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • Payment data is processed exclusively by the respective app store
  • We only receive transaction confirmation (without card data)
  • Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to payments

2.5. Data Transmitted via Webhook Integration (User's Choice)

If the User has explicitly enabled the Webhook feature in the application settings, the following data may be automatically sent to the URL specified by the User each time measurements are saved:

  • Part identifier, name, and drawing number
  • Process identifier and lot number
  • Measurement results (nominals, tolerances, actual values)
  • Part pass/fail status
  • Event timestamp
IMPORTANT:

This feature is disabled by default and is activated only by the User's explicit decision. The User independently specifies the recipient URL and is responsible for choosing a trusted endpoint. Data is transmitted via HTTPS (TLS). The Developer has no access to the transmitted data and does not control the recipient server.

3. DATA USE

3.1. Purposes of Use

Collected technical data is used exclusively for:

  • Diagnostics and error correction
  • Improving application stability
  • Performance analysis
  • Technical user support

3.2. Audit and Reporting

The employee identifier and username are used for:

  • Creating quality control reports
  • Tracking measurement operations (who, when, which part was inspected)
  • Ensuring traceability in production processes

This data is NOT used for marketing or profiling.

4. DATA STORAGE AND PROTECTION

4.1. Local Storage

  • All user data is stored locally on the device in an encrypted SQLite database
  • The Application uses built-in Android/iOS data protection mechanisms
  • Data is protected by system application permissions

4.2. Data Transfer

Data is NOT transferred to third parties, except for:

  • Technical error data → Sentry.io (for diagnostics only)
  • Quality control data → to the URL specified by the User (only when Webhook is explicitly enabled, see §2.5)
  • All transfers are protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption

4.3. Storage on Sentry.io Servers

  • Error logs are stored on Sentry.io servers (US/EU)
  • Retention period: up to 90 days
  • Sentry.io complies with GDPR and SOC 2 requirements
  • Details: https://sentry.io/privacy/

5. USER RIGHTS

5.1. Data Access

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control and access to it through the application interface.

5.2. Data Deletion

Local Data:

  • You can delete individual parts, measurements, or reports through the application interface
  • Complete deletion of all data: uninstall the application from your device

Data in Sentry.io:

  • To request deletion of error logs, contact us: aqc.soft@gmail.com
  • Specify the approximate period and application version

5.3. Opting Out of Telemetry

In the current version, automatic sending of error reports is enabled by default to ensure application stability. We plan to add an option to disable telemetry in future versions.

6. THIRD PARTIES
